DIRECTOR OF TENNIS
Ferrer joins the Cliff Drysdale Tennis team with strong experience in managing adult and junior tennis programs. A graduate of the nearby College of the Desert, Ferrer’s tennis roots in the area are strong. He served as a Junior Coaching Professional at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden before being named Head Tennis Professional at Monterey Country Club. Most recently, Ferrer served as the first assistant at The Valley Club in Sun Valley, Idaho, where he managed a team of pros and delivered programming for both tennis and pickleball.

"We were (yes, past-tense) complete beginners to tennis. My partner and I dreamed of playing tennis together and with our experienced friends. So we were on the hunt for: a week long camp with professional coaches in a resort setting so that food and accommodation would be close at hand. During our 15 hours of training we laughed, were challenged and learned a lot. I am pleased to say that by the end we were able to rally and had confidence and a deeper understanding for the game.
