TYLER (September 21, 2018) -- The RBC Pro Challenge presented by Oak Creek, an $80K USTA Pro Circuit event, will be broadcasted on Tennis Channel from the quarterfinal stage all the way through the finals. Additionally, Tennis Channel Plus will have coverage through the quarterfinals. Tyler serves as the second leg of the USTA’s Australian Open Wild Card Challenge, with the player earning the most points in Macon, Tyler and Las Vegas earning a main draw wild card into the Australian Open.

The 2017 RBC Pro Challenge featured an incredibly strong field, with multiple players making their mark on the WTA Tour. Finalist Danielle Collins has ascended to the world’s top 40, enjoying the best season of her career. Meanwhile young Americans Sonya Kenin and Amanda Anisimova, who faced off against each other in the first round of the 2017 tournament, are amongst the youngest players in the top 100. Kristie Ahn, 2017 RBC Pro Challenge Champion, was also last year’s USTA Australian Open Wild Card Challenge winner.
Tennis Channel, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, is the only 24-hour, television-based multimedia destination dedicated to both the professional sport and tennis lifestyle.
The 2nd annual RBC Pro Challenge will begin Sunday, October 28th and run through until Sunday, November 4th. More information and details on tournament upgrades will be announced soon.
