Rising American star Frances Tiafoe will headline Cliff Drysdale Management's 5th annual Tennis With The Stars presented by the BNP Paribas Open on March 5, 2019. Hosted at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, the charity event will benefit local non-profit Desert Arc and national non-profit ACEing Autism.
“I am excited to join Cliff again as well as my fellow ATP and WTA players in supporting two very worthwhile causes,” Tiafoe said. “It is difficult not to enjoy myself at such a well-run event which takes place in such as amazing setting.”
Currently ranked no. 41 in the world, Tiafoe has enjoyed a career year in 2018. He won his maiden ATP World Tour title in Delray beach, reached another final on clay in Estoril, and made the Round of 32 at Wimbledon. Most recently he competed for the U.S. Davis Cup Team as well as representing Team World in the Laver Cup. This will be Tiafoe’s third consecutive year participating in Tennis With The Stars.

The 5th Annual Tennis With The Stars presented by the BNP Paribas Open features top ATP and WTA stars competing with and against amateur players, hosted at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa. Past players include Simona Halep, Steve Johnson, Garbine Muguruza, Kei Nishikori and Genie Bouchard among others. The event is set for Tuesday, March 5th, 2019.
