The Rancho Las Palmas Pro Shop offers all of the latest tennis accessories as well as racquet stringing and grip repair.

MIKE BANNISTER
DIRECTOR OF RACQUETS
A former nationally ranked junior player and NCAA D1 competitor, Mike brings over 18 years of professional coaching experience to our program. Prior to joining the Rancho Las Palmas team, Mike served as the Director of Racquet Sports at The Lakes Country Club in nearby Palm Desert.
In addition to almost two decades of hands-on coaching and playing experience, Mike is RSPA and USTA certified and holds many advanced certifications in player development, sports management and program development. Throughout his career, Mike has built a reputation for program innovation, including successful offerings like adult high-performance squads, a junior-to-college placement program, and concierge lesson services for members of all abilities. Mike also leads coach education at the club to mentor staff and implements data-driven training methods (such as video analysis and periodized plans) to accelerate progress with his players.
Off court, Mike is a passionate advocate for community outreach and connecting with local schools to spread a local love of racquet sports.
